I'm pretty sure he's saying

"I could be a downer" not "I could be a diamond"

The song's about being a wanker and complaining about everything, so "I could be a downer about anything" makes a lot more sense.

Winjer is a DJ who composes fine fine beats. He used to work on K&E Radio, but I have not been able to find them. This could very well be some of his music, it would be par for the course for him to compose something as unique as this.

DJ Winjer has a Great myspace page and such.
