The Holocaust was the genocide of approximately six million European Jews during World War Two. It was a programme of systematic state-sponsored extermination by Nazi Germany. The genocide of these six million people was a genocide of 2/3 of the population of nine million Jews who had resided in Europe before the Holocaust.

The Holocaust also includes the systematic murder of millions of people in other groups, including: Romani, people with disabilities, Soviet prisoners of war, Polish and Soviet civilians, Homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, and other political and religious opponents. By this definition, the total number of Holocaust victims would be between 11 and 17 million people.

In making this video, I feel that it is vital to my generation and those before us to never forget this very dark time in human existence. As time goes on, I notice that many of us are forgetting what has brought us this western lifestyle that we so often take for granted. This is my second video that I have done related to World War Two. The predecessor became a wide success in the Facebook world. The song choice is from the Schindler's List Soundtrack and it is called Auschwitz - Birkenau. Let this video be a reminder to us all and allow us to truly be thankful for what we have. In memory of the Honored Dead and the millions of people who perished in the Holocaust.

and yet Polish government reduced the number of killed Jews in WW2 from 6 to ONE million...so it says in Auschwitz since 1980....so it seems that 10 times more Germans died in WW2 than jews did...is that holocaust? isnt killing of American indians holocaust or killing of 100 000 thousands of Palestinians?
