Back in the day, you had Jordan, you had Drexler, you had Nique, you had Dr. J.

Nowadays, if you get a marquee player or even a dude that more than nine people recognize, it's a coup.

No disrrespct to Jeremy Evans or Chase Budinger, but that's just how it is.

notice Nique throws the ball off of the glass and then dunks,he doesnt throw it in,guys nowadays can only throw it in from that distance,not extend like Nique and finish with a dunk,did I mention the hang time by Jordan which nobody had

,on the windmill dunks last night,they didnt bring the ball down all the way,Nique's arms are straight and he brings the ball all the way down,even ont he reverse dunks,the ball doesnt go half way,like nowadays,he brings it all the way down,then dunks which is harder to do, the guys nowadays are doing watered down versions of the windmill and reverse,and they still lack the hangtime of MJ, which explains why the dunk contest has been wack,

@awaylabel ,this was special because they were doing it first in the competition,no one has the hang time as MJ and when they did the windmill back then and the reverse,they brought the ball all the way down,Nique and MJ's head is at the rim,and MJ at the 1:50 mark did the elbow in the rim dunk before Vince Carter,and he faked on one side and then dunked it on the other side, no one is doing these dunks as well these two

Back when you only had one do-over in the dunk contest. It was judged like a gymnastics event. Nowadays, the judges really aren't needed anymore. Just give it to the one who pulls out the best prop.
