HST BC, a plan comes together... or not

I'm a local animator who's grown tired of the Liberal subterfuge. $5 million pro-HST campaign was the straw that really broke it. Insult to injury was the "promise" to lower HST in installments over 4 years. Right.. as if there won't be some cooked up "unforseen" budget shortfall and the tax stays hard pegged at 12%.

And I'm not totally against a VAT tax - it can be beneficial but imo this HST is bad and hurts the average BC-er, i.e. me. Not to mention the pie-in-the-sky estimates of future economic developments.

So here's my stone slung at the goliath of money on the other side of the argument.

We lost 30,000 jobs because of the economic collapse, not because of the HST....if anything the HST offset that from being a higher number. Not to mention all the hundreds of thousands of people who have been employed thanks to the increased film industry, which is thanks to the HST....before you go on a political campaign, I suggest you research your facts...

Sure, the HST isnt going to create jobs immediately, even though its good for the economy - thats a stupid statement. But could you please tell me how the HST is causing job loss?

This clip presents some excellent facts. Economists can't predict future events. Its pure fraud.The Liberal prediction about job creation is pure fiction.The only jobs they will create are McDonald type of jobs.You cannot suport a family on $10 an hour it will not work.Vote yes to go back to the PST and GST system.
