A presentation by Terry Shintani, M.D.
Fact - The major cause of death in America is cardiovascular disease.
Fact - Nearly all cardiovascular disease is preventable.
It is no longer necessary to suffer from a progressively deteriorating vascular system characterized by angina, heart attacks, heart failure, and premature death. Bullshit except he is right about the carbohydrates/sugars/starch being different part. And the AHA diet being bad for your heart.
But then all the other stuff on the old cholesterol and sat fat myth. Ancel keys=WRONG, he did a 22 country study and took out the other countries. If you look at ALL other countries he studied (google 22 country study), you'll see that fat and cholesterol consumption DO NOT correlate with heart disease. Americans eat to many veg oils and high GI carbs, not sat fat.
