Jim Rome intereviewed NBA Commisioner David Stern on his radio show today and asked him the simple question "Is the NBA Draft Lottery fixed?" Stern gave two answers. "No." and "Do you still beat your wife?"

    Stern didn't actually mean Rome beats his wife, it denotes a loaded question, i.e. implying the answer within the question. That being said David Stern is a scumbag and a terrible commissioner.

    I'm no fan of Rome, but that was cheap on the part of Stern, a smarter man would have disagreed with the accusation but understood where it came from.
