  • Taz on the organ. R.I.P.!

  • just dang cool...who's the dude on the double neck guitar tho..? antone know..?

  • Cool

  • Even Clapton says he is not the guitarist he was 15 years ago.

  • now that's some good old string music right there from two of the best. i remember watching charlie & elvin & dickey do southbound on the tv show midnight special back in the 70's. nice to see two old friends who are still crankin' it out. no one can massage a les paul and bend those strings quite like richard betts. god bless the ramblin man!

  • @robertdeltajohnson NOt Really. Age is the factor here with Dickey, and Charlie. They are not 35 any more. Plus this Audio on the vid sucks big time. His voice sounds almost identical to his Great Southern Tracks that you can hear on Rhapsody from 2009. Sure Dickey, and a lot of Southern Boys had their share of Alcoholism, and ISMS, but life on the Road with the Brothers took a hell of a toll on him.He is still in it too bad for Toy/Tom/Hughie/Billy OUTLAWS/Allen/ Tom Craine, etc...The SOUTH USA

  • @robertdelta..., TRUE bluesmen NEVER retire. Dickey out of his head sounds better than most any ordinary player. I dont care if he can't walk and sits on a stool, I'll still listen to him and be GRATEFUL for it.

  • As much as I hate to say this, I'll say it... Dickey sounds like he's drunk and this video is sad to watch. Alcohol has taken it's toll on him and it really shows in his playing, his body posture, his singing, etc. Dickey was one of the greatest guitarists to come out of the South and was instrumental in creating the, "Southern Rock" sound along with Duane Allman and the rest of The Brothers. God bless him for his contributions to music, it's time to retire while his dignity is still intact...

  • Thats it . I am selling all of my Strats!! Les Pauls RULE
