Ihr und allen Projekthelfern ist es zu verdanken das in den 70er und 80er die Gorillas nicht ausgerottet wurden. Damals waren es knapp 200 Gorillas.

An absolutly amazing book about Dian and her life is Virunga- a passion of Dian Fossey, writen of Farley Mowat. He wrote from her own diary...sooooGood to read. I can really recommend it.

She was amazing!! These women are absolute role models to me!! Just amazing women Diane Fossey and Jane Goodall. May God keep her and her gorillas in a better place and all together like a family because those gorillas where like her close family. I feel like that with my animals too!! Animals are so much better than humans!!
