There are too many "ordinary men" who've gotten or are getting the shaft on both sides of the Atlantic. I was telling my Uncle the other night that he was lucky. Worked 40 years in a factory and retired right before they closed the factory in Kansas City and opened one in China.

Hi Mr.Jullins. I am the person who posted this video. I posted it because it is a song about capitalism in my opinion and how the "man" always seems to get his and the real man that did all the work to get it for him is left standing out in the rain! I posted this song because it has a message, not because I thought it was Christy's message, for god's sake people, HE DIDN'T EVEN WRITE IT! He is simply giving props to a song writer that deserves it. Lighten up and give them both a little credit!!

@elixermixer How can you say that you posted this song as anti capitalism, sitting there talking about "The Man." every time I go to listen to this, you have a god dam ADVERT, seriously for this song? I had to remove this off a playlist as when I want to listen to music I don't want fuck!ng Ads. I'm not too sure how youtube and adverts work but if in anyway you are making money off this, when you didn't write, sing, record this song....you are a hypocrite and evil.

@talkingshitfool I can assure you of a few of things. 1. I have zero control over whether or not Youtube chooses to place ads on videos. 2. I am not profiting in any way shape or form from this video or any others I have posted on this site or any other. AND 3. I don't appreciate the accusation or the name calling. But thanks for your passion.

@elixermixer I might be wrong, but last time I checked, you can opt in or opt out of the adverts. Hence why some videos have them and some don't. I think the guy made a valid point.

@DancinJim That may or may not be true, I am not a youtube expert. Regardless of whether or not you can opt out of the adverts does not change the fact that I AM NOT PROFITING from the adverts and quite honestly... I resent the accusation. I simply posted a video to a song that I like. If I were doing it for profit I am sure there are songs that get far more hits on youtube than this one.
