how can pple say move on and forget about it, how about america trying to forget 9/11, nah dont think u wanna, black pple were bought to other countries not by choice and robbed of there identity, i mean all these last names we have aint even ours, there the slave masters, so to some ov u commentin how its the past an etc just dont forget our history is what made your future !!!

I think that apologies can not relieve the horrifying fact of former slavery and really isn't productive. I do not see at this point in time how any apology would benefit. Focus forward! Black people now have the same if not more advantages as anyone else. That is positive progress in my opinion and restitution for the wrongs done to a people HUNDREDS of years ago.

want to blame someone and get an apology ? get it from africa. ur own people sold you. all african americans were a simple business transaction between the african tribes and the dutch.
