@paramoreFan642 Exactly me (except I'm 15). I have grown up with Abba, and even though I have changed so much over the years, Abba has stayed with me throughout. This song makes me feel sad and guilty that my mother tries so hard, and all I seem to do is pull away from her. It sends a lump to my throat :'(

@TheLivsarven Indeed, this song is for anybody who is watching a person they care for grow up and grow away, and can't bear to lose them. For anybody who looks back in regret at time gone by. For anybody who would do anything to protect that special person from harm, and for anybody who has the ability to love.

Nothing will ever last. I sometimes wonder what the point is

My best friend cried to me the other day because her kids are growing so fast. When you think of your own childhood it seems to go on forever, but when you're watching kids grow it's the opposite. It's easy to forget that the tiny and seemingly insignificant things you say and do around children will stick in their minds for years, and be more important to them than you realise...

@thelivsarven that is really nice and i can totally realate to that as i feel the same way about my seven year old sister

I'm sure there are a lot of moms watching this video. But when I watch the video I think of my 8 year old sister. She's my sunshine and joy. Life has been really hard on us both, and it's really hard to protect her from pain. I don't want her to be disappointed in me as her older sister. I'll give up my happiness for her. I love you baby girl <3

@jenster1979 This song already always makes me cry, or dear, you just made it worse. This song IS so sad and beautiful. I can't stand it most of the time. Especially with the clips from the movie, oh so sad.

@gamemasterx i won't be an adult in my mind, but it'll still feel kinda weird to know that legally, i'm not a kid any more. believe me, i won't grow up and become an adult until i'm at least 30, but it'll still feel kinda sad to know that legally, i'm no longer under the protection of my parents.

@bfold11 Turning 18 (or whatever the age of majority is in your area) doesn't make you an adult. You'll continue being a kid until one day when you wake up and realize that all along, you've slowly been gaining independence. You'll know it when it happens and you won't wish you were a kid anymore. ;)

when my mom listened to this song she stared at me with tears in her eyes, all the time while telling me to forever be her little girl.
I love you mommy and I will never ever leave you <33
