Ellie in her 4th month of being with me, she has come on alot, we went XC schooling for the first time (for both of us), Jumped some bigger jumps, began to work on her paces even more, but it's all gone downhill. She is currently out of work, i had a professionals advice and am currently not aloud to ride, before she came to me she was supposedly abused, and her back muscles for lack of riding and being worked in an outline have wiltered away and due to the fact she has changed shape dramatically since bein with me, the saddle we were using no longer fits, so a new saddle is in order, along with alot of lunging on a de gouge to build up her topline.
Her behaviour this month was atrotious, she was bad in hand and under saddle, she's had me off a fair few times, she crashed through a fence with me on her because i asked her to half pass left, and in the field, she was just dangerous, kicks would be forced upon you, as would rearing and dragging, so missy is now learning some manners and having some time off.
There won't be a may video as she is out of work, but june/july/aug will all be there as its summer hols and she will have built back up a bit.
Please no nasty comments, you dont work with the horse on a daily basis and have little understanding. Advice appretiated.

hey, sorry for such a late reply, i havent used good old youtube for a while.
& yeah i agree, when i was told i wouldnt be able to ride for over a year, destroyed everything, but i'm riding again now and hopefuly will get back on track soon.
& thank for very much for the compliments, i too have also had lessons with a amazing lady who knows me from old and has spent time with my horse and she also think that its just time and effort needed, so fingers crossed :)

she looks lovely alot like my mare! and her topline looks ok to me im no expert tho! sometimes its hard as u do your own thing seek proffessionals advice and it can blow ur world apart! its easy with hindsight but if u were doin ok as a team yourself maybe u didnt neesd a professionals advice as some can be a bit too forthright for my opinion! i have lessons from a good friend who knows us both and is a horse(woman) trust your instincts hun thats what i say your horse looks lovely there :)
