My collaboration with Aela began in 2009, the results have been fantastic tracks, and a music video. He is a young energetic, talented, farsi speaking vocalist who is willing to take risks in exploring new styles such as fusion of traditional, electronic, and pop. He has won numerous awards in vocal competitions in Iran. He has studied both traditional, and western music.

I wanted to convey the idea that angels don't necessarily live after this life and in another world. They live here on earth. Sometimes, we are our own savior and angel. A teenager in search of her own character, a boy being bullied, a man working hard to send money to his mother abroad, a pregnant house wife dealing with poverty and satisfying her family, and a widowed woman dealing with the loss of a loved one from the Iran and Iraq war are all depictions of hope, love, and endurance of many of us who deal with our lives in many ways.

The production of this video took two days. I shot it with my Canon 7D and a handmade dolly. I lit, edited, color corrected, and done visual effects for it. It was a one man show. For the time, and money dedicated to the project, I am glad it turned out the way it did. I hope you like it.
