Demolition on the 49-unit Laie Inn on property in Laie, Hawaii, managed by Hawaii Reserves, Inc., began on January 25 and should take about two weeks to complete. The small hotel, which opened in February 1966, was closed on November 1, 2009, and will eventually be replaced with a new 220-unit hotel on the same site. • Just in the time to build a Laie Fire Station. This is the ideal site. Your Laie Community Board Pane Meatoga & Junior Ah You petitioned for the Hauula Fire Station. This is a better site -- closer to your Laie homes.
