  • @Fagottron ha, yeah, my name's pretty 'out there' huh? =D i actually only have it because i get funny replies from people laughing at it or someone moaning about it being "wacist" lol

that being said, i actually like your other tracks, especially the fresh prince one - but i'm not sure how much value you'll impute that with considering it's coming from a guy named "fat nigger" but there you go XD

anyway take care man, this conversation's pretty surreal hah

  • @MrFatNigger11 P.S: And I thought my username was bad! Hahahah

  • @MrFatNigger11 I don't really go after any particular meaning with my tracks. I think music is too subjective to have purposes attached to it. Just enjoy it for what it is, a tune with some cheer in it. =]

  • *cracks up* Ohhh, Road to Damascus... my comment didn't say anything about how it'll change lives. All I said was what you quoted. It promotes it-- this song isn't going to make anyone have an epiphany in their worldview, probably. You're absolutely right -- all it is is a song. I was just telling Mr. mhmandthen that there's no reason to dislike a song based on its extremely positive message. It uplifts, it's not a political revolution.

  • @HomeStarRunnerTron personally i dont see how the song changes anything

i mean i listened to it but i have not suddenly had a road to damascus style revelation in terms of my thoughts on equality/political freedom etc

its all well and good to say the song "promotes human equality and political freedom" but what tangible effect on anyone does it have? that just sounds like a political soundbite to me

as regards the actual song its just a beat with accompanying speech clips

  • Samurai Applejack

  • don't forget China, where greatly short for human right

  • @mhmandthen

No, when I quoted the word "make," I meant that the UN wasn't forcing him to make this.. Then I quoted pogo afterwards to prove a point (also because his blog's link wouldn't have went to the right page if you were to copy/paste the url I posted).

  • So first you say the UN didn't make pogo make it and then you provide a quote that says the exact opposite

  • @mhmandthen

"Splicing a series of webcam recordings seemed daunting at first, but it soon became FUN AND MADE FOR A REFRESHING PROJECT. I also included several shots I’ve collected on my travels through various countries. Enjoy, folks."
