another nice Spanish Mackerel on an Xrap Lure. Would have to be one of my favourite lures and extra popular with the Spanish Mackerel population. Would have to be the best producing Spanish lure, and even outdoing other favourites such as the classic, Halco laser Pro, CD18's. Make sure you have one of these in your tackle box. This spanish Mackerel was caught trolling some deep shoals out on Sharon Shoal on our Recent Hardline Mothershipping trip.

  • what is the best colors for kingfish?

  • In australia, we swear by the Red head for Spanish (King) Mackerel, so should work well in USA. So a red head, and white body, I always run at least one lure in your spread with this colour. Blues, Purples and

Lumo Green also work well, The rapala Magnum XRap is a gun lure and one of my favourites, would also try and run a 20 or 30, if the area is deep enough.

  • what size x rap is this ? 14?

  • Would say it was an Xrap Magnum 20, or the 30, Great Lure, and a must have when trolling

    Cheers Greg

  • The fishiing is great in Australia, but the gin laws suck!

  • Pretty awesome fishing off Mackay, spoilt with great Spanish Mackerel, GT and reef fishing,

    Cheers Greg
