This is a video of a rare 1924 Dodge Brothers truck that my boss located in Colorado. He had the look of Uncle Jed when he got it to run and I thought it would be humorous to add the Beverly Hillbillies Theme to it with a vintage twist.

  • What happened to the dog at the end of the film? Hope he ain't become roadkill!

  • @WSenator1 - Thanks for asking what happened to Diva the German Shepherd. She is alive and well as of this post. You can rest assured that she did not become roadkill. It seems that Diva has become a popular addition to my video. I think Diva would love to receive more fanfail from her viewers. I will be sure to pass your comments on to her.

  • my dad would sing this song to me when i was a baby

  • I love that song!

  • @i1custd - Glad to hear that. I've been around dogs much of my life, and have loved (most of) them, and I always wanted to have a German Shepherd, but never had the chance. So I'm glad Diva is still kicking. Have a good day!

  • Hey tazzman the bh car/truck sits in the Ralph Foster musuem near Branson Mo. the show producer donated to the musuem after the show cancelled, Its still there! had my pic taken sitting in it!

  • Actual quote from George Barris...The Beverly Hillbillies was very popular. It was the longest show we had on t.v. and to find any car from the Ozarks in Southern California was kinda hard and I was driving down the 10 freeway and I go by a little town, Fontana in the San Bernadino area, and there was a feed store and this old car was whacked in half and was sitting there, a 1922 Oldsmobile, and I took pictures of that and I run back to the studio and I said, 'Hey guys, lets make this.'
