I say good job! Howver, try deglazing the pan with some white wine before adding the sacue. The deglazing will bring all that goodness off the pan into the sauce - kicking it up a level! I'm an American studying to be a chef in Florence Italy, the dish your doing can, on some levels be considered Tuscany style!
