Anyone who thinks Michaela is a bad actress needs to watch episode 5.09 (For Tonight You're Only Here To Know) ASAP. Her monologue at the end is truly heartbreaking. I tear up everytime I see it. Michaela is a fantastic actress. I loved her on One Tree Hill and SVU

McManus was awful. I should have stopped watching SVU when Diane Neal left, but I haven't, because I still love Mariska.

Ac tually, Michaela is gone from "SVU" after this season. As noted previously, she is HATED by most fans of "SVU" (as well as critics, some of whom call her acting like "a piece of balsa wood" in some cases), and while I didn't think she's anywhere near as bad, too many people hated her and it's now apparent Stephanie March's return was at least a stopgap to bring back old "SVU" fans and to see if SM wants to return next season.
