@StickyGeko Just a little tip. There is an application that has been out for quite a while now, You install it onto the device, Then it sync's with the phone and you just double tap the gestre area and a on screen keyboard appears which is very much bigger than the qwerty keyboard....
I have no idea what the app is called but their is a youtube video about it, Just type Palm pre Onscreen keyboard or something :)

give a new video on how you feel about it now, apps, build quality, if it ever gets faulty, battery life, would be great to know ;]

nice vid, helpful.
it's been a month since you've had it now, mind giving me some points to consider.
i'm choosing between this and the iphone 3gs, both with o2.
how is the app situation now? is it still getting better?
i know there is an app to give you a virtual keyboard too, eliminates the lack of virtual keyboard.
also is it faster now with the update?
nice overview

how do u find typing? i tried the pre in the o2 shop, i like it, but think the kepyboards a lil cramped, i found myself using my nails to press the keys, do the keys soften up a bit, i mean they are kinda stiff in the shop, do they get easier to press if u get me? i really like the pre and will probably pick it up as i dont wana be another iphone sheep, by the way the US version is soo much faster, will do do a new vid showin the speed when the OTA 1.3 update arrives... keep up the good work

To be honest i dont really have any problems typing, the keyboard is small but very accessible in my experience. the keys are a little stiff im not sure if they have got easier or if i have just adapted to them, either way its not really a problem so dont let it put you off. i plan on doing a couple more videos soon so i will try to include some typing examples. i will also update when the 1.3 software arrives!! :D
Thanks again

Thanks for the over view and first impressions. I just wanted to check that you knew that you input your pin-code in front of the camera at the beginning?
Also, how's the battery doing? I know that seems to be a problem for some users.
Looking forward to another review. Thanks!

Thanks for the Comment GuruCube, yeah i did notice i had entered my pin! never mind! it can easily be changed!
I must say i was worried about the battery life but upto now im on the 3rd cycle of the battery and the phone is 6 days old so im averaging with medium usage about 2 days per full charge which i think is fantastic, i havent hammered the phone as yet but based on this you will definatley get a good full day out of the Pre much like the Iphone.
Overall battery life is excellent!!
Thanks
