F18 weapon drop goes wrong

An F18 drops a weapon with a TA4 acting as chase. Following release the weapns flies straight back and take the chase planes wing off

@merstrand Pause right at the beginning where it cuts back to the angle from behind the two planes. You can clearly see that it is intact.

@merstrand Dude... first, it's not called a "tail-rudder", it's called a vertical stabilizer. And it's still on the F-18. It's a little hard to see because it's the same color as the background, but it's still there. You can clearly see the tip of it if you look closely.

sure its gone, but the part striking the A4 is not the part thats missing. How the right tailfin got knocked of would be real interesting... I'd say its the whole pylon that drops... would explain the flight path....

@COZWV well maybe im' wrong in what's it called in english but try to compare F18 0:02 to the F18 in 0:25 . the right vertical stabilizer is gone !

@merstrand Are you serious? Even after watching the beginning and seeing CLEARLY that the part comes from under the left wing and the right tail rudder is CLEARLY still on the plane during the whole time from when the part comes off to when it strikes the A4?

It's not a weapon drop its the F18 loosing the right tail-rudder, look when the f18 turns right after the incident,the tail rudder is missing.
