Started radio in 1969 and played Nancy Wilson cuts... have always been surprised at how much music made since then sucks in comparison. Every once in a while, I do a nancy wilson marathon... including things I haven't heard before, or in a while. Great artist. Always worth a listen.

Nancy's talent grew over years and each decade went new places with great results but with no radio support for the greats since the sixties, only us fans knew...listen to this gem and weap we had no outlet on radio to play this masterful great performace...radio killed off this great music but now we have youtube to savor enjoy greats like Peabo & Nancy...real music from the soul!

Nancy Wilson, is, and always has been the embodiment of beauty, elegance and strength. She exudes the word, "lady" in her manner and in her work through her cool and velvety smooth style. If she's been "underrated", it's not due to lack of talent; she remained private vs becoming the "drama queen" many of her peers became. She's a diva in its truest form: regal, gracious and warm. It's no wonder she is so beloved by a loyal, "cult" following. Today's "talent" stands to learn volumes from her!!

I never thought of Nancy Wilson as underrated,She is one of our great pop-jazz singers. I Love her. This duet is interesting. It's wonderful to hear a new interpretation of Sondheim. It thrills me that I have tickets to see this lady in June. Patience will be my middle name for a while(It is already Nancy)

This is a beautiful duet!!! I love Nancy Wilson, her voice is like a cool night's summer breeze blowing threw a window over my sheet covered body just before I drift off asleep. Nancy should have received a number of lifetime achievement awards by now. Some of the people who win grammy's and perform on stage now. think they can sing but until notes comes out of their mouths like they come out of Nancy's they should sit back and take lessons. Thanks for this posting...

@Jkaneshige Agreed! Nancy Wilson can sing anything. I discovered her when I was a young girl in the late 60's. She had a "pop" song called "Face it girl...It's over". I loved that song. I played that 45 record so much I had to purchase it again. Needless to say, I was goin' through my first 'puppy love' break-up. I thought the world had come to an end...LOL! Today he is fat and bald...and I {still} look fabulous...LOL!!! Youtube has posted that NW tune...check it out, it's pretty neat.

She has to be one of the most under-rated jazz singers. You gotta listen to her early stuff (circa early 1960's). She does so much with notes. Makes every verse her own.
