my doctor sent me to a cardiologist as part of medical clearance to run the paris marathon. my ecg is not "normal", but consistent with althletic training : )

"there is a wider range of normality in ECGs of athletes than the 'normal population'
there is often a sinus bradycardia due to increased levels of physical fitness"

"Sinus bradycardia can be defined as a sinus rhythm with a resting heart rate of 60 beats per minute or less."

  • so what does that really mean? (referring to your description)

  • my doctor sent me to a cardiologist because my cardio graph was not the average pattern...the specialist said it was ok...the difference being due to athletic training... so potentially above average.... i am very happy with this XD

  • I guess not normal can sometime be good :)

  • yes. i encourage all youtubers to rebel against normalness : )

  • So, in this case, abnormal is good?

Nice heart you have there :)
