Gonna be moving to Mumbai next year,

can't wait, its such a beautiful,diverse city,so full of life and with the most amazing people.

I couldn't of asked for a more vibrant ,amazing place to fulfill my dreams.

@Ritulively so what the hindus are doing about this. Hindus are soft and stupid people. India will be known more and more for its muslim and sikh culture than hindu culture. India is not building anything prominent to honor its hindu culture.

@brucaX10 Taj Mahal pre-dates Shah Jahan by several centuries and was originally built as a Hindu or Vedic temple/palace complex, and that Shah Jahan merely acquired it from its previous owner, the Hindu King Jai Singh. This is not unlike the many other buildings that were acquired by the Muslim invaders to be used for their own purposes. The point to consider is how much more of India's history has been distorted if the background of such a grand building is so inaccurate.

I live in Mumbai and have a tour company of my own. The response I have heard from most tourist is very positive. Most of them were so overwhelmed by the experience they promised to visit the city again though few people complained about the dirt in some places. I took them to some of the most amazing places, tasted unique variety of indian food , shopping to the bead market, shoemarket and other places, visited cultural and heritage cites and discussed a lot of things...they simply loved it!!

India not good. The Taj MAHAL was built by muslim invaders. India is still identified with the TAJ MAHAL. Indians not capable of building something to represent their culture.Your government is still housed in the British buildings- what a shame. Everywhere in the world when people talks about India, whether on television,books or magazine india is Identified with the Taj Mahal- a muslim building. All other countries have their symbolic buildings that is native to their culture and country.

i love mumbai i live in netherlansd but love mumbai the most the city of dreams beutiful, but i feel worse when is see the dirt, and i hope that the dirt will vanish soon in whole india,
