A TRUE Communion celebrated "People's Mic" style!
If you want to know what the communion meal, the feast of agape, looked like among the early christians of the primiive church--I'm guessing it went sumthin' like this.
What a statement. You get so used to institutionalized religions arrogantly demanding respect; here, MY church PAID respect. And it all just felt so natural, as though, if there one place on earth we belonged doing communion--it was here.
I could go on and on. I doubtless will at some point, of course. For now, I'll just say that this very jaded soul has felt the cynicism slipping off layer by layer with every visit I make to Dewey Square. And I shed a whole lotta dead skin tonight.
