The "flesh ground coffee" is classic Engrish, whether intentional or not. This model is called the Hario Skerton- from what I heard, it was literally a misunderstanding on a phone conversation between an asian man and an english-speaking man. He was trying to say "skeleton."

English is not my native language and I think some things were lost in translation.

What I ment was that the ceramic burrs I have seen before were a yellowish brown-type of color, while this burr is black/dark. It made me wonder if the burr wasn't made of some kind of metal? I thought that 'conical' referred to the material the burr was made, but now I understand it refers to the shape of the hopper/burr.

How come the title says ceramic grinder while the video shows a conical grinder?
