@chaoreturnsforgood76 That's right, however, Lucas had separate departments for practical effects and computer effects, and sold the latter to Steve Jobs, who turned it into Pixar. This was, of course, before Disney entered the equation.

IT'S NOT A PIXAR SHORT!!!! It was made in 1984 for SIGGRAPH (Special Intrest Group on GRAPHics and Interactive Techniques) while they were at Lucasfilm and Pixar wasn't founded until 1986!!!
It's a Lucasfilm short!!
