  • i have a faskolor f1 daul action gravity feed airbrush.and a 1/5 hp air compressor..it builds up to 50 psi. when i use it it drops to 20 psi... and i use house of color paint.haveing trouble with the paint coming out ..? do i need more pressure / tried to spray fine line and it would work? do i need more presure or less???? iam just starting.

  • @hockeyfreak043 I would try a different compressor

  • I think Don is using inks on this video. They have almost no tip-dry.

Createx white will always kill you with tip-dry.

  • Thanks Pitontheprowl for helping out. Sorry for the late reply to abcdan71 question. I used Golden airbrush colors in this video.

  • Drying paint on the tip is a big discouragement to someone learning and I never see you cleaning the tip off ever. Is there a better paint to learn with other than the badger or createx or am I just doing something wrong?

  • golden airbrush colors is what i was using

  • when im painting i cnt get true fine lines, they always seem to be spread out almost as if it has been painted with spray paint. also whenever i use colors on paper the finished product looks faded. any tips?

  • Hi Don,

Im totally a beginner to airbrushing, does the badger air opaque paint gives you often the tip dry? Is the Dr Ph martin a liquified watercolor? Can i use other brand liquified watercolor that i wont have tip dry on it, because the only liquified watercolor available in my local store is the Talens Ecoline watercolor?

i need a paint that wont give me much tip dry and trouble since Golden airbrush colors is not available in my country.

Thanks and keep up the good videos
