  • @dhammcakkhu what name this Parittha/Gatha Or Sutta ??? please tellme ...............please......NAMO BUDDHAYA. and can u give me text this paritta???

  • This is 'Jaiya chanting'.. Victory chanting.. I listened this lively at the first time at Wat Poo Wua in a full moon night and cried .. The chanting was beautiful and empowering.. My good fortune to have that opportunity in my life.. 'Buddham Dhammam Sangham Namassami'..

  • A really nice chant. Very peaceful! Are the words to this chant available online anywhere in Thai or any language? If so, can someone please post a link. Thanks.

  • Thank you for sharing this great and powerful chant. Does anyone have the script for the chant (especially the Chaya Chaya part)? I can pick up a few keywords but not all of it for now for the Chaya Chaya portion, the latter one is the jayaparittam (Mahakaruniko) followed by subsequent chanting phrases for great blessings and others I am not familiar with. It will be wonderful if there is a romanised Pali script for this entire chant for sharing with all. Have a great day filled with metta!

I really like this chanting more than any other pali chanting. In which monastery will I find this chanting?

  • The chanting is called "chayya chayya" from the Pali word "Jaya" which means "victory" and is old fashioned chanting not used everywhere in Thailand but mostly the NE Thailand ethnic Lao people. The rhythm and style is ancient. It is not often heard now in Thailand and not part of the regular chants.

  • Please someone tell me what kind of chanting these are! Morning or Evening or special occasion?
