I lost my dad to cancer just over 10 years ago he was in his 40s (so young)he never got to meet his grandaughter who was 6 months old when he died......he never told anybody about his illness the family found out he had cancer about 3 days before he died and because he was in another country i never got to say goodbye i miss my dad so much. My love goes out to all that has lost a dad as it is hard to lose a parent

I lost my dad to a battle of cancer in september the day before his birthday in 2011, and this is my favourite song to play for him, annd there's no words to describe how you feel when you loose someone as close to you at that, and alot of people don't know how it feels but this is a lovely song and it reminds me of him so much!... R.I.P dad, I miss you soo much! :'(

When I lost my father a few years ago, I felt a real emptiness in my heart. But, I know my parents aren't LOST. They are with GOD and they watch over me every day, along with my wife and their grandchildren. It still hurts to not be able to call and talk to them, or kiss them or receive a hug from them. This tribute was moving and thank you for your song.

When I lost my mother, I discovered there were two types of people in the world - Not by choice but by reality. There were those who said "I'm sorry to hear that." There were others who said "I'M SORRY." The difference between the two groups were whether they had lost a parent or not. The later response being that of those who had lost a parent. After that, when someone near to me lost a parent, they knew I meant it in a way you can never really mean it until you experience that loss.

@MuhammadOttojasper1 I agree. Whoever's going around making stupid chain-comments like that about such a serious, devestating issue ought to be ashamed of themself.
