I concur. Neocons are fascists not socialists.
Also, calling the former USSR and China "socialist" is misleading, they were oligarchies. There were clearly the haves and have-nots depending on your position in government.
True socialists are more like the current Scandinavian countries where the State provides for more basic services (infrastructure, education, healthcare).

Theres no such thing as prosperity for all. That would be a Utopia, something that never has and never will exist. Capitalism gives individuals the freedom and vehicle to choose whether or not they wish to attain prosperity as they see it.
