John Su is great at what he does

I used to compete in the same tournaments. In tournaments for Red Dragon Karate, the yelling and screaming is part of competition. It has been for at least 15 years.

His original instructor from Red Dragon Karate is 9th Degree Shi han Mike Jablonski from Azusa CA.

How was I bashing him? I complimented the shit out of him. He's EXTREMLY tallented with his performances. I just believe that the energy should be internal and brought out of the body through your punches, not your lungs.
-
You don't agree with yelling? Try doing some research before you bas on someone.

Its Red Dragon American Karate/My Jhong Law Horn

Yes I know who I am criticising, and I think if he also does real Shotokan karate (from the looks of it) he would agree with me that this "AIEEEEEEEOOOOW" kiai was for the benefit of the judges in this particular tournament. I'm sure when he goes to a real karate tournament for Shotokan or whatever he really does, he does not do that crazy and painful kiai.

While I personally don't agree with yelling while doing your martial arts, it's hard to critisize someone with such amazing control, power, and accuracy.

Do you even know WHO your criticizing??? LMAO.... "This guy"
"This Guy" is an 8 time world champion, and counting.
Sure thing, almost all martial arts use the "kiai" which is an outburst of sound and energy coming from the tanden, in kungfu its the "Dantian", an area beneath the navel. It is a short, explosive, loud burst of sound. This guy is screaming with his lungs, and also doing it at all the irrelevant places.

He's even screaming when he does a slow tension-block. And its a scream, make no mistake, not a "kiai". Next time, think before you comment.
