Google Maps Locations of 9/11 Attack Footage

This video has been made to show in google maps the points where some of the famous and dramatic footage was taken during the September 11th attacks.

These attacks, while seperating families, united countries.

They united a civilised world to stand together, and though thousands of miles away, we felt like America's neighbours. These atrocities could be felt on our doorstep and every civilised person felt personally attacked on that day.

Ths is why I have created this video. The footage has been located on Google Maps and you can find the link in the information below. Google Maps brings us a step closer to the other side of the world, and now we can step onto the streets that people tried desperatley to escape.

No copyright infringement was intended in the making of this video, but I believe all the footage used belongs to the world to make everyone aware of what these unfortunate people went through. So thank you for making your videos available to everybody.

The names on the right hand side of the screen are a list of the people that lost their lives. They are not a list of the victims...

...as victims include every every family member and friend that lost someone special on that day.


In a new window open the following link to the Google Maps page containing all of the map markers. If you click on the view on the left, you can then copy and paste the you tube link from the pop up window, then click 'More' and 'Street View' from the drop down menu. NB. The time below the YouTube link (eg. 0:20) is the time in that video that the map marker refers to. Alternatively click on the map marker and copy the YouTube link to view the witness footage from that view.
