Dance for Liberation will be a crazy fun night of dancing and good company, featuring music by singer-songwriter Kara Daly and DJ Yung MZ0KST! There will be raffles with prizes including gift certificates from Indochine, India Mahal, Toyko and Plaza Mariachi. You can also win scarfs and bags woven by women in Guatemala.

Cover charge- $3 for 21 and up, $5 for 18-21

All proceeds go to Friendship Bridge, a non-profit organization which liberates women living in poverty in Guatemala. Through micro-lending, a process by which women receive funding to start their own businesses, Friendship Bridge empowers women to take control of their own lives, and learn their rights! They also give scholarships for the kids to go to school.
Come get down for a good cause. Groove for Guatemalan freedom. Get funky for poverty liberation. Bring friends. Bring lovers. Bring passions. Get crazy.
