Better examples of RRHOF awkwardness include the debacles involving Blondie (former member with lawsuits pending against current ones, and Deborah Harry telling that former member to take a seat when he tried to be a part of their performance), Black Sabbath (who refused to perform, letting Metallica do it instead since they were pissed at not being inducted earlier), and of course the Sex Pistols, who didn't show up and made their contempt for the RRHOF perfectly clear via an open letter.

The 'awkward' relates to the crowd's reaction to Iggy's performance, which is really hard to tell from this clip. Most of the suits in the crowd looked very uncomfortable during his performance. Iggy's used to making people uncomfortable, though.
