One note on here, where I mention the Fire Stone is actually called the Fire Gem, either that or you can create a Fire Discharge to add a fire damage factor to your weapon. All the info on the items and factors I mentioned and showed on this video can be found in this gamefaqsdotcom link.

What does "Raises normal attack decision by 2" do? (On fayt's Tri-emblem)

normal hits like just a regular hit not a battle skill do 2 extra hits. If you will notice videos where when a character hits it counts it as 4 hits and show 4 diff damage stacked on top of eachother

that max is +3
