@eu000000000 I would like to see some information about this because lots of people I know have had this for years and I never heard of this before. If people were getting sick eating this here then we wouldn't sell it, we even don't import foods from other countries if it's got too much artificial color or something in it. It must depend on how it's prepared, it's singed and no brain whatsoever. I wonder if there's a difference between species of sheep.

I'd rather kiss it.

LMAO, I live in Canada and I would never wanna eat meat from heads. xP

@sdsp9 We always eat this when we visit my grandparents. I tried the tounge, but, I can't eat something that stares at me. And guess what? Icelanders also eat testicles.
At least they removed the eyes. I don't like my food staring back at me.

@Linnas79 No they arent removed, they are in there, just not very visible. People actually EAT the eyes.

im norwegian and this is, well not normal but it's not unnormal either to eat in norway. Why the f*** would someone eat a sheep head?! WHY!"?#

@vasilij69 I wonder if theres a difference between icelandic and norwegian sheep in taste, if its not the same species? I have family in Norway and they say the Icelandic lamb and sheep is much better, for their taste at least.
Do you know how history shows us why people started eating this? I dont eat it often at all but the cheeks and tongue isnt always bad tasting, there isnt much meat on it but i dont eat the fat and definitely NOT the eyes like some people love. Yes, love and drool for it

traditional norwegian food

@pilotbutterfly ok cool :) but are you saying that it isnt traditional icelandic then? Cause you know it was the kind of food here probably over a 1000 years ago, and for a good reason. :) But yea, I think its traditional wherever the vikings went, haggis is also scottish as well as icelandic. (slátur /lifrarpylsa/blóðmör in icelandic)
