La Vern visited Down Undah just before the jets were introduced to the South Pacific. She flew on a DC7-C ( Seven Seas) which was fitted with four piston engines with their attendant vibration. She still managed to sing and wow them!!

I think this is the best version of Lucky old Sun. The pace is perfect, and its not as overdone as Aretha's version.
