This is a practice piece I did after following a tutorial vid. It's undergone a lot of changes and will probably continue to develop. Right now its at 992,700 polys. Don't hate on the detail...I know how all you traditional box\subdivision modelers love to hate on how easy Zbrush makes things...

  • I like the glittering nose. Better than Rudolph! ;)

  • Thanks, I thought the wet nose was a nice touch...

  • i tell u what spoils it (an amazing peice) the eyes. it has humanoid eyes. animals have black eyes (well really dark brown). i think the eyes look a little cartoony. for a more severe serious look consider darkening the colour. although it is a fantasy character though. YOUR character. nice one.

  • sorry itekisan

but i hate the glittering nose

  • cool textures!

  • That is one of the best textured CGI pieces on Youtube.

Well done. And IMO, the eyes do not spoil it at all. The whole idea of a Minotaur is for it to be an anthropomorph - it has to have a human soul tortured by the instinct of a beast. And as we all know, eyes are the gateway to the soul.

  • How do you texture your creations?

  • Great work, I'd love to see a full body piece by you though, considering the heads you have made are awesome, adding a body to them would be make them look just amazing.

  • but i am sculpting also u cant make as easyly set up models, box modeling which i love for heads i make a realtivly simple subed head then bring it to zbrush. U should learn maya or light wave light wave is way bttr i have both ohh and ur not behind the curve have u ever sumbmited ur work to a animation comp. i bet they woulnt mind such detial in there projects.
