I must credit Mariane for being so strong and being a practicing Buddhist.You must understand that they are journalists. Yes, there are dangers in Pakistan, more so than in America. But there are dangers in any country, any city. It just happens that Daniel and Mariane were living in a Muslim ruled country and were not Muslim, and were criticized (or in Danny's case-killed) for thier curiosity and for the search for truth. Danny was in the process of writing an article.
