On Monday, June 28, 2010, conservative talk show host and best selling author delivered a scathing monologue on John McCain at the same time he reaffirmed his commitment and endorsement of JD Hayworth.
McCain is bold. When he lies he admits it. During the 2000 presidential campaign his advisors wanted him to support S.Carolina in flying the Confederate flag, but McCain believed it was a symbol of racism. "I didn't want to do this," McCain says. "But I could tell from the desperate looks of my staff that we had an enormous problem. And that it could come down to lying or losing. I chose lying." So he chose to to lie and lose his integrity to avoid losing an election. All I can say is WOW.
@GTC1958 It appears you had plenty of time on your hands today to reply to a lot of non JD fans. It will be a cold day in Hel* before I vote for that loser. He is a blow hard that loves himself and would sell his mom to make a buck. McCain is a Progressive but voting for JD is no different. As far as I am concern, a vote for either of these two is a vote against Arizona and the United States and is throwing your vote away. Go ahead, vote JD, he will continue on the road to Socialism. Facts.
The quote I posted regarding McCain lying came directly from his own book, "Worth the Fighting For". So there it is people. He lied, admits it and guess what happens? NADA.
McCain is not only a liar and flip flopper, I swear to God I think McCain is a Democrat in Republican clothing. Most of his views and positions are clearly not conservative. But he is no different than the majority of politicians is he? Its sad but true. They say and do one thing during their campaigns and as soon as they are elected they retract the promises they made. They have the bait and switch down to a science.
@eileenfrench To get JD elected over McCain is going to take everyone of us in a grass roots effort. McCain has LOTS of bucks for this ads. But we the conservatives can be an effective tool to get the truth out about McCain the "republicrat". So many AZ Republicans have absolutely no clue of McCain's betrayal of conservatives. We have to persuade them with facts that JD may have made mistakes but McCain has intentionally tried to undermine the US Constitution while in Washington.
@KrissyK5 Reagan didn't have the benefit of hind sight when he goofed up with his amnesty. However, in light of the evidence we have today that amnesty will only encourage more illegal immigration to support this measure is suicide for our nation. McCain knows perfectly what his "comprehensive immigration reform" will do but to America but all he cares about is retaining his throne. McCain will say anything to anyone in order to gain votes. This is a man void of character.
@KrissyK5 So what has McCain offered us?? Amnesty for 12 to 22 illegal aliens who will ultimately vote for liberal idiots such as Obama? As much as loved Ronald Reagan he made a very BIG mistake with his amnesty back in the 80's and we see the problems clearly 20 years later. Radical pro-illegal immigration/open border groups like La Raza, LULAC, Sin Frontera, etc have sprouted by the dozens as a result of amnesty. They support liberal politicians who are destroying our nation.
@cartmanfan0316 Arizona's legacy of rational conservatism is long dead and buried. We're now stuck with:
1) Fake fiscal conservatives who only want to cut down on spending when they aren't personally affected.
2) Immigration reform advocates without the balls to go after the source of our problems (businesses that profit from the migrant wage labor)
3) brain dead religious Fundamentalists who have more interest in "fixing" the constitution than anyone else in the country.
