I taught at an English camp a few weeks ago and the students kept singing this catchy song. It sounded hilarious and it was surprising to see that it was actually meant to be hilarious. I had no idea until I researched it. I asked a few adult Korean friends, did some online research, and yep...it's quite popular. A few of my students wanted to teach me the song. I don't know the lyrics yet, but I got the gist of it. Stayed tuned for part 2.

"Gag Concert" 개그콘서트 is a Korean sketch-comedy show on KBS2. It began in 1999..still popular today. Other shows like, "People looking for a laugh" (웃음을 찾는 사람들) and MBC's "Ha ttang sa (하늘도 웃고 땅도 웃고 사람도 웃는다) are quite popular as well.
