Pretty Boy Blue
2003 True Black Quarter Horse Stallion.
Was my first time riding him or even working him and he did fantastic! Seemed nervous though and I can tell he may have been roughed up pretty bad when he was being broke to ride 5 years ago. He hasn't been ridden in 3 years, so he did extremely well. He knows how to lunge better than most horses I've worked with or even know. Lol He is a stud, so for the past 3 years all he's done is basically breeding to mares. Surprisingly enough, I had his full attention. I was expecting a bit of a fight from a stud who hasn't been worked in a long time and isn't used to it, but he was completely focused and easy to handle. He really moves off his hind end nicely which is good and he can almost do a full spin. The sand is super deep so he was having difficulty but he was trying! I'm going to start working him everyday and maybe turn him into a good barrel racer (if his owner will let me =D)!

  • @Ravenalone Yes I am sad he was sold. He was a very sweet stallion. Thank you for the compliment.

  • To bad he was sold. Such a nice stallion. I agree with the other comments. Excellent riding.

  • @Ravenalone He is not gelded. He is roughly 15.0 hh but he was sold recently so I no longer work with him.

  • I'd love a foal out of him. Out of a welsh cob. Suppose he's already gelded... How tall is he?

  • @heinzstoffregen Thank you so much for the nice compliment =)

I love him very much and have been working with him everyday and he just gets better and better. I'll post more videos of him soon. Thanks again =)

  • What a wonderful horse, powerful and majestic, elegant in his movements and full of fire - you must have been excited to ride such a horse.

    And you were fantastic, Kristen!

Why should he fight you, a gentle and most caring rider?

Thanks for showing when you mount: he immediately accepts you and when moving he shows how happy he is.

He feels that you are the best rider he might have - congratulations for such perfect communication.

    Please, present more videos.
