We're making use of some of our "less than perfect" parts to put together a velomobile that will fit my eight year old son. He's been bugging me to provide him something to ride ever since he outgrew the back seat of the Cab-bike. Given the size of the rider we need to keep the weight down and watch the sight lines. With the yellow and black colour scheme he's decided to call this the "Hornet". A future model for bluevelo? Well, we'll have to see how things go....

The video you're looking at is one illustrating the first stage of development of this design (the bottom tub). Thanks.

  • lol.....`again` !

  • That is too cool!

What do you mean, "I thought you were going to run me down... Again?"

If it's happened before, I'd be nervous too.

I agree, lucky youngster to have such a cool dad.

  • Oh man lucky dude.

  • That is so very cool. What a great way to raise a child.

  • Lucky kid. That is really great!
