it is difficult to get to the thermostat on this car if you are doin it for the first time!! but follow these steps and it will be easier

  • My wife has a 2001 Passat. I don't think I'll ever have the guts to attempt this R&R, but thanks for the explanation.

    Frankly, when a component that could easily need replacement is buried in this way, it makes me mad as hell. Piss pour design, IMHO... Who signs off on this kind of crap?
