  • Do you know where i can find that piece of body right under the hood, where the porsche emblem sits? You can clearly see it in the yellow 924 at 00:12, message me if you know anything. Thank you :)

  • So, the 924S owners cannot join the 924 owner's club?Hmmmmm.......That's strange.

  • @timcomeau ..also, what about the rear alum trailing arms of the 924S?

  • @TheDiddlysquat ...I can't agree. If anything, The 944 was a detuned GT-P, not GTR. The GTR still had the Audi 2.0 liter turbo. The 924 GTP had the proto type 944 engine at Le Mans.

Even the early 944's had different engines, tranny's from the 1970's 924's. The 87-88 924S's for the U.S. market had more in common with the 944's than the 924's. The 931's, especially the series II cars were closer in evolution to the early 944's. But ...given all the facts, I see the 924S as a narrow bodied 944.

  • @MOMOf333SP NO. The 924S is not a 924. It's a 944 except for the narrow body work.

  • I drive a 924S in the USA can I join?
