That GAA is sounding beautiful.
-
You're confusing the Jumbo with the Firefly, mate.
-
The Jumbo was not given to the British. It was designed as an assault tank to be used to breach the Siegfried Line. it was a standard M4A3(75)W with extra armor added to the glacis and hull sides at the factory. A new, thicker differential housing was specially cast for the tank along with a new, heavily armored turret and mantlet. 254 of them were built with the standard 75mm M3 gun. In 1945, in theater conversions took place with the 76mm M1 gun replacing the 75mm.

that hose isn't looking good....either it's gonna pop out from its place or get cut. you should change it anyway cause its disrupting the flow of the coolant.

is that TheChieftainWOT in the Commander's hatch?
This vehicle and four others ran Strong & Proud in the Veteran's Parades in Mesa AZ and in San Jose CA on 11/11/11. The MVTF brought vehicles to eight (8) off site events this year and will continue to "Keep History Alive & Running".

Good Call. You are correct. That hose was noticed during fluid checks and replaced just prior to backing the vehicle from the courtyard.
