You should run the water in first and add the soap when the water is in about 25%. You get more bubbles that way. Put your clothes in last.

Hot water heater with installation $600.00
Monthly energy bill to heat the water and run the machines $60.00.
So your landlord invested $2600 out of pocket and $60 a month to give you the convenience of not having to travel to the laundromat and you think you are entitled to free laundry??
