With regard to the walk up the walled path I did that too.

I didn't see street lighting around the apartment. Could you please clarify if there any streets lights around? Recently one of the tapas9 Jane Tanner said @ 9.15pm she saw a man walking away from the complex with a child wearing the same pyjamas as Madeleine.

I think Jane Tanner is lying. If it was dark then how Ms Tanner could be sure the child had the same pyjamas as Madeleine? And if she was able to see clearly the pyjamas would she not recognised Madeleine? Would she not rise the alarm?

Thanks for this video. Now we know that the walking distance between the McCanns apartment and the Tapas bar is 130 yards instead of "50" yards, like Gerry says! There were also a wall and lots of trees and bushes hiding the view!

From frame 1:52, the cometator staes that she's looking from the 'back' of the McCann's apartment, which is also wrong, it's the front of the McCann's apartment and it's that road that Tanner stated she had seen an egg carrying a child. @2:14, "this is now the back of the apartment..." nooope, it's the front door of the apartment! Another thing, male's have longer strides than females, so Gerry's step count would have been less than 35 steps from the OC entrance to the apartment!

This vid is wrong... it's not the lane behind the McCann's apartment that Jane Tanner alledges she saw a man carrying a child, it's the road across the top of the street looking up from the Ocean club towards the McCann's apartment @ frame 0:46, which is called R.DR.Agostintho da Silva, which runs along the front of the apartment, and is supprisingly lit very well at night being that there's a street lamp attached to the wall directly above the bedroom the McCann's children were sleeping in!

@McCannsconfess yes indeed there are streetlight poles, precisely at the same place where Mrs. Tanner said that she saw a man carrying a little girl, but it still doesn't mean that is true, or just a lie. like u said it is very hard to see from certain distances and even if its darker, and maybe it wasn't even a man but a woman, so I really don't know what to think about this statement.

This lady has actually done quite a service towards getting justice for MBM. She is mistaken slightly: The Panorama documentary 19-11-2007 stated that JT had seen the man at the top of the road (not the lane). Of interest here is the point at 2.15 to 2.20. IF THE 'ABDUCTOR' HAD TAKEN MADELEINE THROUGH THAT WINDOW, the other Tapas group members should have seen an open window. Yet none of them did! Also SKY's Martin Brunt counted the steps from the Tapas to the gate - 80 paces in total.

those parents killed her no doubt about it = well i think gerry did it and kate knows about it - there is no way they could see the apartment from the tapas bar - i cant understand how jane could have seen anything in the dark in the alley way - if they were checking every 30 min then they would just get back and itr would be time to go again - werent all the parents checking all the children ??
