Just the video from the 1st intermission tribute and an odd song choice but it's two things I love. Patrick Roy and Rise Against so can't complain too much.
for those of you who are ripping Patrick lmao you are all loosers. lol so what he had a bad game, big deal. 4 cups sais it all. just so for those of you who dont know about goaltending he introduced the butterfly style amplified to 100% better then any goalie ive seen till today, there will never be another Roy sorry not even Brodeur,,,,,, close just close.
Ahh. Yes. The Best goalie of all time. Was at his retirement game it was one of the best nights of my entire life. Brouder is a good goalie and all but he has always had the team to back him up. I mean Patrick Elias, The Neidemeyer brothers, Brian Gionta, and some others that padded his stats and won most of the stanley cups.
Martin Brodeur would have to win the Stanley Cup for the next 5 or so years running to even come close to Roy's playoff wins record. If Patrick had really cared about the regular season wins, he could have tacked on another 3 or 4 years onto his career easily. Even at a mere 30 wins a year for those seasons, you're looking at over 650, and Brodeur wouldn't have a chance at it. Brodeur is a good goalie in a great defensive system.
love roy miss him like crazy his wins will be beat this year by brodeur but no one will beat the three mvps and other little stats that people forget about like 20-Number of birthday cakes he cut before becoming the youngest player to ever earn the Conn Smythe Trophy as postseason MVP in the spring of 1986. 23- Playoff overtime wins notched by Roy for the Canadiens on his way to a 23-6 mark, including his amazing 10-1 record during the Habs Stanley Cup run in 1993.
